How to Install Blogger Templates

Installing Blogger Templates

1. Open the main.xml file and modify the image paths to reflect the location you’ve chosen to place the image files.
2. Log in to your Blogger Dashboard.
3. Click the "Layout" link on the Dashboard.
4. Click the "Edit HTML" link in tab bar.
5. Browse for main.xml on your local drive.
6. Click the "Upload" button.(please ignore error messages, if any)
7. Confirm and Save.

Please note that if you are using classic template style in Blogger, you will first need to upgrade it, as follows:

1. Click the "Template" link.
2. Click the "Customize Design".
3. Click the "Upgrade Your Template" button.
4. Save Template.

You should then see the "Layout" link on your Blogger Dashboard.

Creating Top Menu

1. Log in to your Blogger Dashboard.
2. Go to Layout -> Page Elements -> Top Menu –> Edit
3. Click "Add Link" to add links.
4. If you need a multi-level menu please enter "-" (dash) before the Subitem name, for example: "-Submenu Item".
5. Please note that Submenu item should be placed below the parent menu item.
6. Click Save.

Populating the Footer Links Section

1. Log in to your Blogger Dashboard.
2. Go to Layout -> Page Elements -> Footer Links -> Edit.
3. Enter desired link information and click "Add Link".
4. Save.

Populating the Copyright Section

1. Log in to your Blogger Dashboard.
2. Go to Layout -> Page Elements -> Copyright Text -> Edit.
3. Enter the desired text.
4. Save.
